Welcome aboard! Our favorite way to catch Pelagic fish is by using live bait. Captain Matt is well-equipped to help you catch some fish while trolling the 40 Fathom ledge with live bait and artificial lures. This charter primarily involves slow trolling with live bait. However, if live bait is not available, trolling with lures is the next best option. Live bait fishing produces some fantastic hook-ups and unforgettable experiences. You might also spot some dolphins, turtles, and sharks during the tour. The captain has over two decades of experience in the Hawaiian waters, and his love for fishing is contagious. If you want to extend the charter, you can discuss the options with the captain by messaging him.
Cancellation Policy
If you think you have been exposed to COVID-19 and/or are positive or not feeling well, please contact Hawaii Whale Tale Tours to reschedule your booking. This is for your safety and the safety of the boat crew. To reschedule your tour please contact us 48 hours ahead of the tour date. Customers can cancel their trip up to 3 days in advance, incurring a 15% fee based on the tour price.
